Miguel Aravena Cofré

Miguel Andrés Aravena, attorney at the Supreme Court of Chile and Foreign lawyer of López-Ibor DPM Abogados, works in the Air Transport and Commercial Law departments. His advisory services focus on supporting companies, financial entities and airlines in various corporate, consumer and compliance matters, as well as in the structuring of international air transport and financing transactions.

He also contributes to various areas of the firm in corporate matters, cross-border matters, immigration issues and matters related to Latin America.

He has worked in the Legal Department of the airline Vueling Airlines S.A. in Barcelona and as litigator at Aninat Schwencke & Cía. in Chile, where he has been involved in cases of public impact in matters of civil, stock exchange, corporate and environmental accountability. He has also taken part in several highly complex litigations in the judicial, arbitration, sanctioning and contentious-administrative sectors.

Education

He is a graduate of the Universidad Católica de Chile, specializing in Commercial Law and with a minor in Contemporary History. He has an LL.M. and a Master’s in Professional Mediation, both from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona. He is a columnist at Idealex.press and has published academic research on various legal topics.
