Borja Ruiz-Mateos Albarracín, heads the insolvency department of López-Ibor DPM Abogados. Borja began his professional career at Latorre y Asociados in 2008, and since 2021 is part of our firm.
Borja has accumulated extensive experience in restructuring and insolvency law, advising national and international companies in various sectors such as real estate, hospitality, industrial, food and transport, both in their restructuring processes and in their insolvency proceedings.
He has also provided legal assistance to the various insolvency administrations in numerous proceedings in all sections of insolvency.
He also has extensive experience advising creditors of insolvent companies in different sectors, accompanying them throughout the proceedings in defence of their claims and rights, as well as collaborating with third parties interested in the acquisition of production units or assets in insolvency proceedings.
Education
- Degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
- Master’s Degree in Bankruptcy Administration from the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales (UNED).
- Executive Master’s Degree in Corporate Compliance from Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
- Participation in numerous insolvency law forums.
